Project Overview
A mounting backlog of work in Southern California spurred a local Spokane screenwriter to begin planning for a new film studio complex to be built near the Spokane International Airport. Inland Northwest Studios reached out to our design team for assistance with developing a masterplan for the complex and with creating conceptual designs for studying the feasibility of the concept and for investor recruitment purposes.
Our team listened carefully to the project owner's goals and objectives. We began by defining the space needs, amenities, and performance requirements. With this information we dove into researching other similar projects including equipment, production and storage considerations. We then prepared conceptual site and floor plans for two different design strategies.
The final designs consisted of a 3 phase masterplan with multiple design options for 36,000ft2 of studio spaces, and a 5000ft2 flagship administration building. Along with complete designs and estimates our team rendered multiple images of the 21 acre site, for the client's funding and recruitment efforts..
